I have built iOS apps commercially since 2010, for a variety of clients. I’ve worked as part of teams of all sizes, in both engineering and leadership roles, as well as in process and coaching roles.
Before that I produced websites for people, and was involved in the games industry. While that was going on I was part of a team that wrote and ran an early hyperlocally-focused digital music aggregator.
While I am most experienced at working with iOS, Mac, and related technologies, I have worked with and on many platforms, building apps, games, and systems for embedded devices, Windows, Android and the web. I just like to build things!
Over the years I have released a small number of personal projects, many of which are lost to the ages now, but there are a few floating around, as well as some newer projects coming to fruition. I aim to keep track of these at the Too Hard Basket site, which is currently under construction, as we used to say.
My next app is an iOS habit/anything tracking app built on SwiftUI and using all the latest goodies. It requires iOS 17 so it won’t be out until that’s out, at least, but I hope to start writing a bit more about it soon.
