For the Quail
For the Quail have been around for a while. We put out our first record in 2007, had a little A-playlist action on a couple of national radio stations, then churned through a couple of drummers and veered off into leftfield further. We have had the same lineup since about 2010, and our first full-length album, Art in the Service of the State came out in 2022. Sometimes I listen to it when I am running around up on Swampy Summit (Whawha-raupō), amongst the tussock, it’s pretty great for that sort of thing.
